Objective pain measurement is difficult. Finding scientifically reliable proxy measures for experienced pain is a debated topic. On the other hand, patient pain is often described on a vague, subjective scale of 1 to 10.

Mendolor is developing a comprehensive solution, which allows pain to be measured using objective measures that are complemented with patient descriptions of their experienced pain.
There is an acute need for reliable pain measurement. Solving the opiate crisis, improving the quality of pain management, and reducing human suffering are all noble but still perfectly attainable goals.
